What is ReelAbilities Toronto?

ReelAbilities Film Festival Toronto is the Canadian chapter of the ReelAbilities Film Festival – the largest film festival in North America showcasing narrative and documentary films about Deaf and disability cultures, and platforming the work of Deaf and/or disabled filmmakers and performers.

ReelEducation

ReelEducation provides educators who teach Grades K-12 with free, year-round resources that support students in learning about disability, inclusion, empathy, universal design, mental health, and deconstructing barriers, biases, and stereotypes.

Accessible Writers’ Lab

An experimental program for writers with disabilities and established showrunners and senior writers to experiment with what an accessible TV writers room might look like, focusing on collective accessibility, knowledge sharing, and working to create pathways for disabled creatives to thrive in the Canadian television industry.
